And guess what? No one’s pissed off about it.
Pininfarina, a world famous Italian car house based in Miami, (FL) hosted an outrageous affair during Art Basel Miami Beach called “Art, Speed, & Design: The Lifestyle of Pininfarina”
The event was located at Lou La Vie (Exotic Car Rental).
The highlight of the evening was an over-the-top raucous and uninhabited live splash painting of a brand new Maserati by the renowned street artist Mr. Brainwash, who is rumored to have sold the most art during Art Basel 2015 – totaling over $1M.
He stunned the crowd as he threw neon colors across the opalescent white paint job and leaving streaks on the floor and wall behind them as hundreds of Art Basel attendees looked on.
So this how it all went down:
Everyone waited patiently as the artist arrived, admiring the beautiful 2015 Maserati Gran Turismo.
The artist scans the paint and decides on a plan of action. He starts mixing the paint.
Here’s where it gets messy. He starts walking around with the paint can, almost as if it were slipping from his fingertips…
Wait for it…
BOOM!
POW!
WHAM!
He did the unspeakable. Onlookers watched in absolute disbelief.
Paint was EVERYWHERE.
Then, he started painting on the car hood’s on Lou La Vie’s walls. At one point, he throws a paint can at one of them.
He paints “Life is Beautiful”
